Choosing an IT company for your business?

Are you trying to choose an IT company for your business, but have no idea where to start?
One offers this and one offers that, and don’t even start with all the jargon you get bombarded with!
So, let me make it a bit simpler…
First things first, know your needs. Are you after basic support, or do you need a team to handle everything—network, security, the lot? Some companies specialise in one area, while others can manage your entire IT setup.
Next, check out their experience. Not all IT companies are built the same. Do they understand your industry? Have they worked with businesses like yours? It’s always worth asking how they’ve helped others and if they’re familiar with any software you’re already using.
And don’t forget about response times. You don’t want to be left hanging when things go wrong. Make sure they offer quick, reliable support—and look for those with good SLAs (Service Level Agreements) in place.
Lastly, read reviews and get recommendations. Word of mouth is key, like when your mate tells you about a cracking pub you’ve never been to. If others are raving about the IT company, chances are, they’ll be worth a pint.
