Choosing between the Modern Sales Methods

I’ve recently made a video on Selling to Millennials so it seemed appropriate to write about the modern sales methods and how to make the right choice depending on the case, your product, the person you’re selling to, your strategy, targets etc.

Having everything at our fingertips, not just us but the client as well, has definitely changed the sales process, how we reach out to customers, how we present them our products and solutions and how we assure them that it is what they need.

Here are several modern sales methods:

SNAP Selling: Excellent for selling to Enterprise level companies and when discussing with a mature and well informed lead.

Challenger: A great method that lives up to its name, it challenges the sales person to avoid obstacles and it generates huge trust from the client. Works for all company sizes, but especially Enterprise.

SPIN Selling: Or how to guide the clients to arrive at your own conclusions. Depending how this method is applied, it should work wonderful for all company sizes.

Sandler Selling: It takes some training and coaching to master this method, but will do wonders for long sales processes.

Solution Selling: It revolves around the simple idea of promoting an answer instead of the product itself. It works incredibly is highly recommended for specific industries and products.
