Choose Your Own Adventure
Andrew Pepar
The impacts of COVID, AI, climate change, and polarisation shape our world. In this complexity, human trust and connection is paramount. We need leaders with empathy, who work in partnership, to create shared value.
How many times in your career have you backed away from what you really want?
Many of us have an image in our hearts of the work we want to be doing, the impact we want to have, or the money we want to earn.
Do that now. Bring that image to mind.
Now feel into that image and notice if there is any resistance or doubt.
Or is there hope, joy and acceptance?
Along your journey you may have learnt beliefs that feed your doubt or fear about the future.
If you can feel into these beliefs you can ask for them to be released. Once they are released you can concentrate on the positive and joyful emotions that come with pursuing something creative.
Career decisions are about both self and service. Many of us criticise or judge ourselves for having intentions about "what we want", however this is important motivation and energy.
We can align both our self needs with out service needs and have no doubt inside either will happen. This is living with purpose.
When you free yourself, you really can choose your own adventure.
