This week, imagine you and I are doing something together.
Your choice of what we are doing. Since it's your imagination, please make sure you choose wisely.
ME: "Hey, how are you?"
YOU: "I am afraid to make a choice."
OK.
So far, I've asked you to make TWO choices in this article and reminded you to "choose wisely."
When someone (me) says (wrote) that...
Did the reptilian part of your brain seize up a bit?
It's OK.
You're human.
And.
You and I have to make choices on a daily basis.
So.
The Actionable Tip: Choose Wisely
Let go of the "pressure" to make sure you are making the perfect choice.
There are a very small subset of choices we make that are not irreversible.
Cut yourself some slack.
Make a choice.
Move on.

PS: OK... I admit it. I am not always sure if I should use "Choose" or "Chose" or "Loose" or "Lose" and I need to google it almost every time. Is that just me??

9 个月My method (and I'm not advocating for this) is that I just try something. If it fails, it was the wrong way. Then, I try the other way.

9 个月I do my best (being a human) to ensure that I "Choose Wisely" by using data & objectivity, as often as possible, to guide my decisions. While some decisions may run counter to what the data say & they're just the "right thing to do," I like them to be my guide.
