Choose who you want to work with?
A compendium of exceptional entertainment.
Why do you choose to work with the people you do?
Its a question that has me wondering constantly. We all see the many posts here on Linkedin telling us how great their companies are and how loyal and dedicated they are. Do you ever read the reviews or recommendations or skills and endorsements? You can tell a lot from how and what people post. The top trending posts are not always about what that person is an expert in, its just they’re good at jumping on trends, but thats not what you’re buying. What you are buying is what they are actually selling and how good are they really? Gift of the gab! A good sales man sells themselves first. Reputation and recommendation is always a good guide along with the experience and length of time that person has served in that particular industry.
For me l’m lucky. Unfortunately at fifty three years old l understand all of this much later than l would have liked have but in essence have no qualms and look forward to what the future may have in stall for me. I see it only as exciting and my destiny.
Three years ago l made a life changing decision and one l can most certainly say now was the correct one. If you had asked in the first year l may have had my doubts but thats ok. It was a big decision. I decided that l wanted to do something different, something l wanted to do for me and on my terms.Three years later and l don’t worry what other people think and l don’t worry if they decide not to book me or go with my ideas. I believe completely in what l do and l know l am confident l am the best at what l do. I see enquiries as a challenge and fun that gives me chance to be creative and turn the mundane into something exciting.
After embarking on a carreer in entertainment from the age of 21 I have never really looked back. I may have been complacent at times in the past not realising how lucky l have been to be entertaining in some of the most prestigious venues and places in the world to some of the most famous and powerful but now l look back l have no regrets at all. I only look forward.
I know that the contacts l have gained over the past 30 years along with the unique original props and vehicles l have gathered up, the performers and experts l have access to along with my creativity l can turn any event into something that is exciting and unique.
To be an entertainer you see a lot of things and to be an entertainer it takes something very creative to excite you and thats why l know if it doesn’t excite me its just not good enough.
You may not know me or what l do but l can guarantee if we do work together what l can do is bring excitement and creativity to compliment any RoaringTwenties event and what better time than now?
