The UVC spectrum includes wavelengths of 200 to 280 nanometers, and it is known for its ability to eliminate 99.9% of pathogens such as viruses, bacteria, fungi and mold spores.

UVC LED are relatively new on the market, usually 260nm to 280nm. Other products use broad-spectrum ultraviolet light, which is a combination of wavelengths found in the UVA, UVB, and UVC ranges.

What is Far UVC: In the past ten years, researchers have begun to pay attention to extreme ultraviolet, which uses a lower wavelength range (between 207 and 222nm) for disinfection and is widely used in water purification plants, hospitals, and factory clean rooms.
For water sterilization, antibacterial water tanks, direct drinking water, surface sterilization of humidifiers and toilets, and toothbrush disinfection, deep ultraviolet UVC LED have begun to show great application value and potential.
How to choose: With the continuous flood of new products into the market, choosing the right UVC product is not easy. When choosing a UVC lamp, it is necessary to consider the optical power and peak wavelength, as well as the light exit angle and the service life of the lamp.
