Choose to be an entrepreneur than joining a company
At one point, you may feel to take your life into your own hands to figure out what you really need to be doing. When I was very young, I contributed to my father’s business. I observed how he managed every bit of it. When I grew up, I worked as a web designer for some years, and eventually ended up acting upon my dream of being an entrepreneur. It’s been an exciting adventure and one of the most satisfying feelings as I have had so much space to explore my passions.
There is some part of being an entrepreneur that actually suck. You have to probably work for unlimited hours, you have to be really active all the time, and you are on the most intense roller coaster. With many startups failing, you may be wondering why should you even do it? Being the founder of ProofHub, entrepreneurship has become a way of life for me because of some great reasons. Here are some reasons that can convince you to create your own voice and become a kickass entrepreneur.

Becoming your own boss is the new coveted career choice, but it is never easy for anyone to learn entrepreneurial skills and build a successful business. Gradually, you get conditioned into growing your skills because the accountability is on you. You have to make things happen for yourself, so you go on developing invaluable skills. As you keep progressing, there will be instances where you have to make decisions, trust your instincts and take risks.

To be an entrepreneur you have to live and work in regions that support it. Unfortunately many of the countries are still pretty hostile in terms of taxing and toxic environments for actions like this...
ONP (Open to New Opportunities)
6 年Very great points. I've been an entrepreneur and mine failed in the 2nd year of existence due to lack of finances to support costs n charges. Despite the good leader I was in my company; every worker wanted to stay but we didn't have any money to survive. Now am in the job market again, begging for someone to hire me in early 40's. It's always good to try n keep trying.
We sell GREAT tools for engagement and collaboration, globally. Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine game and the Square Wheels images.
6 年Do BOTH. Be SURE to get the workplace experience and perspective on managing people before you head out on your own. You have more bandwidth to make mistakes that way.? This from someone who was a college professor, a consultant for a firm that trained me, a manager of performance, a Senior VP of Operations and on my own since 1984.?
