Furthermore, the Government of Canada is also prioritizing Francophone immigration to help Francophone minority communities across the country thrive.
In honour of National Francophone Immigration Week in Canada, taking place this week from November?5 until November?11, we are proud to highlight our francophone initiatives, starting with the Welcoming Francophone Communities initiative and the launch of various episodes of our new podcast. The initiative began in 2018, when we launched the Francophone Integration Pathway to support French-speaking newcomers in their plans to live in Canada. The pathway provides support services to French-speaking immigrants from before they arrive until they obtain Canadian citizenship.

As part of the initiative, 14 communities outside Quebec were selected to foster an environment in which French-speaking newcomers will feel welcome and to offer a suite of settlement services in French designed “by and for Francophones.”

1 年Yes ! When you guys are continuously giving work permits to people without providing any job opportunities to the existing workers. When you authorize people to come and work here whom are above 50's without any forecasting or preparation for their employment. When Promoting bilingualism and employers don't care at all about it .. if there are lots of disadventage about social media but at least people can get informed about the reality of the fake information that are being shared these days. You are not only destroying the reputation of Canadian government and this country but also encouraging people to come here and leaving them alone in an absolute darkness. 1 年Seems to me if you speak English… canada doesnt want you! Quebec is only allowing french speakers even as a TFW . The canadian government is prioritizing French speakers ????. Work experience counts for nothing
