Choice matters.

Just wanted to share with you few insights about value added time spent with energetic MBA student at Jaywant Institute of Management, Wathar. Guiding them on choice matters and how do we make choices consciously or unconsciously, and that determine fruit of our actions, results of our actions.

The ability to make a conscious decision is one of the things that separate human beings from animals. We make choices or decisions all the time and our lives are filled with them, consciously or unconsciously. Some are rational; some are made out of emotions such as love, fear or anger etc. Some decisions we make in a blink of an eye, some take us longer as we need to ponder a bit before we decide. Making decisions / choices is part of who we are. A choice made in the moment, for the moment, with more or little or no thought to consequences.

The choice we make can be small ones like switching lanes, what clothes to
wear, deciding to get a cup of coffee or what kind of food to eat. We also make bigger decisions with the potential to change our life such as deciding on an education, what kind of job to do or choosing a partner. But all those choices whether it may be small or big decide our quality of life. Even when we don’t do anything itself it’s a choice.

So at the end only the message was that it is universal law that it is the cause that produce the effect. So our great defeat in life that we consciously or unconsciously make a choice that we make ourselves so much drawn to the goal. The goal is so much more enchanting, so much more alluring, and so much bigger in our mental horizon, that we lose sight of the details altogether.

But whenever failure comes if we analyse it critically, in 99% of cases we shall

find that it was because we did not pay attention to the right method, to the right action, to the right approach and again it was the choice, whether it may be conscious or unconscious “You prepare either for success or for lessons, there is no other choice”. Because both leads to success. Proper attention to right method, to right approach, to right action, till finishing and strengthening of method, of approach, of action is what we need. So with all right methods, right actions, right approach the end must come the goal must reached. If you run after success it indicates that you are not successful but if you run after a perfect method and a perfect approach itself is a success. Because it is the cause that produce the effect. The effect cannot come by itself. So by this law, unless your method, unless your actions, unless your approach are right, exact, proper and powerful, the effect will not be produced, the goal will not be achieved and you may have failure, defeat again and again and again. So make best choices, have clarity in thoughts and have quality in actions 

Because, your dream is like a fire, unless you keep adding fuel of persistent right choices, it dies. And with this all those things will die that you could have manifested it on this planet called earth.

So choose your present, or else future will lose you.
