Chocolate Meditation
Chocolate Meditation
By Rick Winter
Buy the most fragrant yummy chocolate that turns you on.
Go home to a favorite room.
Turns the lights down low.
Sink into your favorite chair.
Think of nothing but the delicacy in your hand.
Breathe deeply.
Unwrap the top.
Place the bar to your nose and inhale long and with passionate intent.
Let the dark fragrance seep into your mind and dance in your pleasure center.
Touch the tip of your tongue to the exposed chocolate.
Close your eyes and feel the sweetness sneak through your blood
and warm your body.
Breathe through and with the sweetness and let it wrap you in its blanket.
Take the smallest bite possible.
Let the mahogany piece melt and play with your tongue.
Taste the sweet, the bitter, the salt -- all its flavors.
Let them smile at you one by one and in harmony.
Close the wrapper.
Lay the candy bar down.
Shut your eyes again.
Enjoy the memory of the whiff and the tiny taste.
Reminisce through the touch and feelings that surrounded you.
Remember the lesson of the chocolate.
Try to bring that moment to everything you do.
Especially in love.
Cherish each kiss,
every touch,
each word,
and every glance in your lover’s eyes.
