Chiwis Raises Seed Round of $425k During Covid
This year has been a wild ride, but things are looking up.
Today I'm very excited to announce that Chiwis Kiwi Chips has raised a seed round of $425,000 with 50% female investors in the seed investor group. This round was raised completely from home during Covid, which is unreal. I would never have thought that a funding round could be filled over Zoom but here we are. Crazy times.
This round is so important to Chiwis as we expand our product listing, our retail listings across Canada and the USA, and build out our online channel. Chiwis started as a one woman show out of a tiny kitchen in Squamish, BC and is now a brand that in six months has grown to be listed in over 200 stores with the store list growing weekly.
Chiwis proud women-owned business dedicated to developing 100% natural snacks using upcycled fruits that taste amazing and do wonders for the body. We make snacks that you can feel good about eating every day at the office, on the go, or on top of a mountain. Our snacks are kid friendly and are always delicious.
I am so very excited to see what the future brings for Chiwis. We've got some big plans.
