CHINT Opens State-of-the-Art Smart Meter Factory in Kenya

CHINT has opened a smart meter manufacturing factory in Machakos, Kenya, marking a significant expansion into the East African market. As CHINT’s 10th overseas facility, the factory will produce advanced smart meters with a capacity of 400,000 units annually. This initiative underscores CHINT’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and local economic growth in the region.
