This article comes about because of a block from a person I fundamentally appreciated on LinkedIn.
Unfortunately, my experience with some people is that their demands and requirements change enormously as soon as these people are promoted or pushed into the LinkedIn program, as example.
Regrettably.
I am commenting on a point that I have raised several times now and am doing so again.
So, thank you, my friend, for showing more of yourself, and how you think about your Network and your Follower.
The basic gist was, you MUST deliver a professional paper under a post on LinkedIn, or as I wrote, maybe write a Chinese poem as an answer?!
(if you′re interested -->> Formal Types:
Shi, Shijing, Chuci, Ghushi, Jintishi, Lushi, Jueju, Pailu, Cí, Qu and Yuanqu)
The basic message was this, a "Thanks for sharing." is not enough and is
totally meaningless!!!
Which is totally nonsense!!!

If you're on a social network active (no matter which one) and you say something like that, you don't understand social networking. Especially not on LinkedIn, which is only very conditionally suitable for this.
A fact about a post on LinkedIn, no matter what and how you post, it has only a lifespan of about 4-6 hours, then he goes without ifs and buts in the eternal hunting grounds.
Or, as in my example that I brought when I see a shared PDF and download it. I comment with an easy basic "Thanks for sharing" - or - "Thanks for this insightful share".
Why?!
Because I don't have time to sift through that PDF right now, let alone read it. This usually takes place a few days later, or in the middle of the night, over a cup of coffee.
.
The other point that weighs much more heavily, is that with such a statement or announcement you show how much you value your contacts, friends, business partners, and followers, namely not at all. You don't give a damn about it. I also mentioned that I find such a statement and behavior, more than arrogant.

A slap in the face to every follower, contact, or business partner, who appreciates your work and perhaps can't give anything more than a "Like" or a useless "Thanks for sharing."
Unfortunately, many people on the social network are silent readers, don't have time to comment, or can't, and don't want to interact like that.
And that's totally fine.
I love and like it, when I get a like, a small little comment, or when I get a PM with a longer Text, or opinions to my post.
If you don't value a "Thanks for sharing," you've missed the point about social networking.

So,
What do you think about this?!
What is your opinion on this?
*****
Do you appreciate a "Like", or a comment like "Thanks for sharing" - or do you expect more, as I said above, a Chinese Poem!?
