Trina & Al-Raebi partner for module supply in Yemen:?Chinese solar module manufacturer Trina Solar announced that it has entered into a 5-year partnership deal along with Al-Raebi for Trading (Al-Raebi) to supply 500 MW module shipments to Yememi market. Al-Raebi is Trina Solar’s authorized distributor in Yemen. This comes close to the heels of Trina Solar completing 40 MW n-type module deal last year. As per the new partnership, in 2023, Trina Solar will supply Al-Raebi with 100 MW of Vertex N modules. The newly upgraded Vertex N series brings module efficiency to as high as 22.4%, with power reaching 605 W and 695 W for residential, C&I PV applications and utility settings. It was in October 2022 that Trina had presented its new Vertex N solar module for the C&I and utility scale segment (see?New Trina Solar Vertex N Modules Launched). Recnetly, Trina Solar present details about the company’s n-type i-TOPCon solar products at a TaiyangNews Conference (see?Jerry Cao, Trina: Trina’s n-Type Solar Product).

Trina Solar Vertex S+ module reaches Australia:?In an announcement, global PV and smart energy total solution provider Trina Solar said that NEG9R.28, its latest Vertex S+ module has arrived in Australia. With an efficiency touching 22% and a maximum output power of 440 W, the n type dual-glass module is lightweight and flexible enough to cater to both residential and commercial and industrial (“C&I”) rooftop requirements. Keeping the specifics of residential rooftops in Australia, Trina Solar designed the latest Vertex S+ NEG9R.28 module to be compact and lightweight. It measures just below 2m2 and 21.1kg. This is so that the modules can easily fit and be installed in a wide range of scenarios. To add to this, the NEG9R.28 has a short circuit current of less than 10.7A, and is compatible with the majority of commonly used inverters on the market. In Febraury 2023, Trina Solar released Vertex S+ as the upgraded version of its Vertex solar module series (see?Trina Solar Touts 22.3% Efficiency For Vertex S+ Module).
