China is living in La-La land…

An excerpt from the speech of Mr. Pradeep Chauhan, director of National Maritime Foundation during the Indo-Pacific regional dialogue, which sarcastically addressed the issue raised by Chinese counterpart, Dr. Zeng Xiangyu, which filled every Indian with pride.

During the Indo-Pacific regional dialogue, a representative from china, Dr. Zeng Xiangyu, intended to warn India for its attempts to increase its influence in Indo-Pacific region. He was indirectly pointing out that India’s interest regarding these attempts may be in contrast with those of china and might have to face consequences, if it turned out so.

Right after that Mr. Pradeep Chauhan revealed the real position of china during his address. The auditorium was echoed with huge round of applause during his speech. He pointed out the following things:

·        China wants to become a self-sufficient country in every sector, but its present position won’t let that happen in coming decades. If they think with this position they can achieve it, then they are living in La-La land.

·        China is working on development of more and more crude oil pipelines, but in comparison to its per day consumption, they all together account for only about 10% of its requirement. Rest 90% of the crude oil must be imported through Indian ocean.

With this, he pointed out why china is so much worried about India’s increasing influence in that region.

His triumphing addressal right after the former’s speech thrilled every single Indian sitting in the conference.

And the former found to avoid the questions raised by the audience by answering in a diplomatic way. He tried to make every possible but failed attempts to support china’s planning and plotting against India, ranging from CPEC to buying ports in Maldives to encompass Indian territory.

Mr. Pradeep Chauhan’s speech sent a message of belief to all the citizens that future of our country is in SAFE, BOLD and BRAVE hands.
