China Foreign Experts Project FUND via CUPB

Under the 2023 China National Foreign Expert Project ("foreign expert project") in science and technology, the director of our center research lab at China University of Petroleum-Beijing (CUPB) in Beijing has tremendous prospects to strengthen Sino-foreign scientific research collaboration. The three categories where funding is available are "foreign young talents program," "foreign experts project" for "innovative talents exchange," and senior foreign experts. The funding application must be completed accurately and honestly, considering the project's genuine needs. The cutoff date is 1 April 2023.

Important Notes:

1. The project cycle will be determined later with the nominees, and it must be reasonably determined by taking into account variables such as how the activities assigned to specialists are organized.
2. Our unit will consider the application for funds which we shall submit in accordance with the pertinent standards outlined in the measures for the administration of funds, and the workload of foreign experts will be calculated transparently after getting approved. The remuneration must also be specified in the form of contracts (agreements), etc.
3. Our project units shall introduce you as one of the foreign experts in accordance with laws and regulations, adhere strictly to the rules regarding intellectual property rights, non-competition, employment, and compensation, and promote win-win and mutually beneficial cooperation in line with international standards.
4. No employer, expert, or researcher may submit more than one application for foreign expert project support from the same team.
5. Foreign experts will not be permitted to participate in the current application if the cycle of previously approved foreign specialized projects in which they took part is still ongoing.
