China - Field Service Manager

Our client is a world-renowned manufacturer. Their advanced independent operation equipment, overall processing system and software solutions can be widely used in the processing of fish, meat, and poultry. It has branches or representative offices in more than 30 countries around the world and has more than 100 agents and distributors around the world.

Now they are seeking for a Field Service Manager located in Beijing, Shanghai. For this role, you will be responsible for monitoring employees’ work levels and review work performance by KPI benchmarking. You also need to initiate personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures when required and conduct regular appraisals and performance meetings with next in line employees. In addition, you will participate in service management meetings and support Regional Service Director in setting directions, goals, strategy and compensation strategy for the operation. The tasks also seek support from industry/regional teams and escalate as necessary, according to defined process and time.

The ideal candidate should have degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a technical college or similar, or relevant work experience. Fluent in English is must. To be more successful for this position, you need to have ability to quickly familiarize oneself with the company’s installed base in the region and relevant technology and turn it into solid knowledge.
