Please be advised that from 1st JUNE, Enforcement of advanced manifest submission (24Hours prior to Loading) for goods (local Import + Transshipment) discharged in ALL Chinese ports is effective without grace period. Please be careful to follow the timeline of S.I/manifest correctly. For those customers who often have x-stuffing, the container/booking miss-matching must be informed to carrier to fix in system before deadline of S.I submission. Fine/penalties/Rolling containers will occur if the regulation is violated.
“General Administration of Customs Peoples Republic of China (GACC) has released announcement (2017) No.56 adjusting rules on Manifest Data declaration items.
New requirements will allow P.R. China Customs to enhance the safety/security risks controls performed over inbound/outbound vessels and goods by means of strengthened Data declaration.
Main adjustments consist in:
· Enforcement of advanced manifest submission (24Hours prior to Loading) for goods (local Import + Transshipment) discharged in ALL Chinese ports
· Original Manifest data submitted must contain a detailed, complete and accurate goods description (same must be reflected under all Bills of Lading).
