Back in December, we ran a competition where one hyped-up hot sauce producer from across the globe could be in for the chance to win an animated explainer from none other than us! The Tiny Wizards! It was declared?The Alchemists Workshop,?and this round was going to be #HOTMAGIC.
Deep down, all of the Tiny Wizards wanted to work with a snazzy food or beverage brand and with enough spicy sauce in the fridge to create a tiny nuclear bomb, getting to know some “hot hot hot” hot sauce companies felt like the best way forward!
Setting Social Media On Fire
We weren’t about to give an animated video away easily though! We knew we wanted to work with a hot sauce company that was going to make the most of this amazing asset!
It wasn’t plain sailing for the Chilli Project, Hotmagic was a spicy battle, with people throwing social media assets, engagement and promo videos around like there was no tomorrow! But no one fought harder than the Chilli Project, they were all over our feed every day of the HotMagic challenge.
So, we the Wizards of Tiny Wizard Studio crowned Chilli Project the hottest hot sauce company around, and began building a relationship with the incredible owners, who just like us are a family business with a real passion for what they do! A match made in heaven.
How’d you get so hot?!
We learned all about the Chilli Project characters, how they came about, as well as the history behind The Chilli Project and how they came to be a family of hotheads!
We wanted to know everything we could, to make sure their animated video was full of spice and told the story of their sauces! Where they came from, what inspired them and most importantly, what makes them hotter than all the others.
Our wizards?set to work and developed character styles, environments that worked well with the brand and would resonate with their target audience. With a robust set of brand guidelines in place, we made sure everything we created was consistent with the brand and other marketing material.

Consistency is key and we know working with big brands means adapting to styles! Once concept art was approved, the storyboard went into development and with only a few rounds of amends, our magical animators began to bring The Chilli Project’sstory to life!
Sending the Spice
We were on the edge of our seats the whole way through bringing The Chilli Projectanimation to life! By the time the end was in sight, we were counting down the days to completion! We couldn’t wait to be able to show the final product to the world! They loved it! A truly collaborative project from start to finish. This is evidence that when you find your tribe, magic is made.
