Today at BIO International 2015, HealthXL -- a global market for health innovations -- announced that Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) has joined its global group of partners, bringing about a new focus on Connected Pediatric Care for these leading healthcare brands.
CHLA is the first pediatric hospital to join the HealthXL network of 16 partners including Bupa, Cleveland Clinic, Becton Dickinson, IBM, ICON, ResMed, Janssen Healthcare Innovation, Apollo Hospitals, Linde Healthcare, Novartis, Partners HealthCare, Silicon Valley Bank, EY, SoftServe, Hermitage Medical Clinic and SoftLayer, all working towards a common goal of improved healthcare delivery.
“We’re very excited to announce that CHLA, that was ranked No. 1 hospital in California just last week, is joining the HealthXL partner network”, said Martin Kelly, CEO & Cofounder at HealthXL. “HealthXL and our partners are already collaborating within the Connected Health domain. Today the affiliation with CHLA, the first pediatric hospital to join the network, increases the opportunity for all of our partners to deliver new and exciting technologies specifically in the area of Connected Pediatric Care.
Engaging with the HealthXL network will allow Children’s Hospital Los Angeles to further our digital health strategies, and expand opportunities for innovative research, development and commercialization of novel therapies, devices and diagnostics that address pediatric unmet needs
said Jessica Rousset, Director of the Center of Innovation at CHLA.
HealthXL and our partners are constantly exploring similar opportunities in various healthcare domains to work with high growth companies, increasing the speed at which existing digital health technologies can begin to have a meaningful impact on health outcomes.
