Children Are What It Is All About
My dearest friends in LinkedIn, I want to tell you that I am seeing more and more pictures of some of you with your kids. Do not let anyone tell you it is unprofessional. The lady next door works from home as a recruiter and has 2 wonderful kids and a mother with her own apartment about 8 miles away. I live on a very special block with people who are very well connected but you would not think so if you came to one of our summer block parties.
As of 6/20/16 I am the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Peace on Earth by 2027.org an educational non-profit registered in union with Legal Zoom in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Right now I can accept donations that are tax deductible in the USA but they need to be made out tp Peace On Earth BY 2027.org and sent to my physical address at 6036 25th Rd N, Arlington, Va. 22207.
I have decided that we need to do Peace as a grassroots effort. Within the month I will be selling 2 types of kits that show how to have a block party. One will be for the suburbs = town houses and detached houses. #2 kit will be a "floor party" and set up for apartments and condos. So the way this will work is to get to now your immediate neighbors and then gradually we will get 2 - 4 clocks together, and keep going until we have all the REAL people of the world connected. Governments seem to be better at starting wars.

8 年When I was a young lad, years ago, people; family and friends, seemed to be far more connected than they are today. We as a society have become too disconnected from each other and the one thing that it seems to be blamed on, overall, is the cost of living (we work too much to give ourselves the needed time to spend with the important people in our lives). While I understand that work takes up a large chunk of people's time, the hustle and bustle of trying to survive, we must take out time to spend with those around us that should mean the most. Block party isn't just for people that have a block to gather on or a party cove at the lake or a favorite campsite. While these places seem like the perfect getaway spot, anywhere that you can gather with friends, neighbor's and family should be befitting for this type of event to create limitless dividends for those we should care about.
