No Child Left Behind

AI is no more sci-fi. Education isn't just about knowledge but also about character. It is calling for an action as we continue to elevate each other. A skill to bridge is through being curious and kindness to others and self. In order to bridge one would require an anchor, it could any object that one carry daily. The chosen anchor help the person to be in present. As many experience auto pilot mode. Now in the moment, is to ask questions such as Am I ready? Will I be ready anytime? Answer to such questions is to be moment-to-moment awareness and acceptance.

What are your thoughts about current generation learner? Are they complex or diverse? Are they superficially connected? Where one switch choices easier than some generation did? As some became a teacher, worked as a teacher and lived as a teacher. Whereas we see some switch from science to commerce and end up in a career that completely different from education and initial aspiration. If this is going to be future, how do we bridge the gap? As an educators and parents are we making changes in how we relate to them? What and how can we help or improvise? Do we talk to them before they try? Like what? Marriage, career, parenting?

Perhaps staying relevant is a way to look at it, for an example - A for Apple, is it a fruit or a company? What does the role do to you? Parenting? Teaching? If there are more question, ask your WWW which asks - What Went Well. Connection matter, Good adults matter. Youths can be drivers for change.

Why we need to believe that youth are changemakers? When a child goes into classroom there are two play happening at the same time, one out in the classroom and one between the ears. There are external factors that cannot stop these two play, it has come within individual child to take control or as a teacher must find a way to take control of "within". This make life more predictable, and we like predictability. As one of the play can be just thoughts, thoughts are not necessarily are facts but assumptions. Allow students to ask for help and its their right to ask.
