“The Chief Minister of Dreams”

“The Chief Minister of Dreams”

I swear in the name of “Tarkulwa wala Baba” , these days I have been seeing strange dreams in my sleep. At times these bizarre dreams are political. In my dream, yesterday evening, I was talking to a senior Chief Minister of a State. In the midst of frolics and jokes, there were serious issues too in the discussion. It seemed as if two very close friends and experts of their areas were having a very meaningful talk. Once again I swear in the name of “Tarkulwa wala Baba” the above referred dream is definitely true.?

Now I cannot tell the name of the state, but I can tell that in my dream I was having a conversation with the Chief Minister of a Hindi-speaking state. If the President or Prime Minister of America, Britain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand or any other English-speaking country full of dazzling development had comes in my dream,??I too would have become a famous personality. I certainly would have boldly registered and loudly asserted with thumping chest that the President/Prime Minister of such and such a country had come in the dreams of Bhojpuria, Purvanchal and Bihar. That would have been a boisterous jubilation among our “Bhojpuria puravnachalis” and “Bihari brothers” for a 2-4 years.?

The world has had strides in development and has progressed by leaps and bound but even dreams of Purvanchali and Bihari is economically as backward as the reality on ground. Now if I tell people that I have met the Chief Minister of a Hindi-speaking state in my dream, then the people of Bhojpuria, Purvanchali and Bihari will declare me an international idiot. This is a place where a child is a leader by birth and attaining adult hood the child moves with a CM or a PM in his pocket. At every nook and corner children, youth or aged people are giving way to politics. On such politically strong grounds, how can there be any status of a minor political dream??anyway.?

Human beings often have such dreams in their sleep which they can see with their open eyes during the day. Nowadays there is a run day in and day out of debate in dailies, social media and on TV channels. On some channels you can find politicians from different political parties fighting constantly with words on their issues. On some other channels the men of god or those long flown bearded mullahs involve in religious polemics.??On some channels if they don’t find people for debate they start spouting homilies in their soliloquies or on some channels bearded Maulanas with under size pajamas and long kurtas or caps on their heads are seen defending their religion.?

In the present time politics has acquired a changed definition. If leaders don’t show themselves on TV channels, social media or newspapers they in fact lose their status as leaders. These days’ leaders of all hues try to keep themselves visible in media all day and night in every possible manner.?

A few days ago, a lady from Gujarat, who appreciates my writing sent a message.?

Message –

If at all we have to bring changes in Bihar for progress and development you have to think for this. The state has long endless swathes of fertile land and immense flow of waters in rivers, still because of no efficacious system it is stagnant and has no headway. A good politician is highly needed to be there which she finds in me and wants me to try for the people of Bihar. She often talks with a large number of Bihari guards employed in societies, rickshaw pullers, vegetable sellers and daily wagers that is why she says so. If I ponder over their plight I can definitely find out solutions. So she often suggests me to become the Chief Minister of State.?

I did tell her that I decided to retire from politics while I was a student of class X. Secondly there is no one who would support me to become a Chief Minister. No one will even make me a village Pradhan and you want me to become a Chief Minister.

?We should let Purvanchal and Bihar stay how they are. Their backwardness is a necessity for the development of the country. Bihar is the country’s requirement and people of Bihar are quite happy by doing whatever they have been doing for ages. The scale of happiness among Bihari people is far more than you can find out at other places in the country. They are the people who stand for self-pride and you can find less number of beggars when compared to other states. The day, if all, Biharis go back to their state, industries in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, Haryana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and the whole country would come to stand closed. If they stop working the whole country would come to stand still. On daily basis in some parts of the country, they are humiliated and insulted by the civilized and cultured people over there. They are treated as second class citizens in other parts of the country. Give them respect and let them work with their self-respect.?

Otherwise also, the people of eastern UP and Bihar lead a life different from political trends that flow in the country. Whereas people of Gujarat, Bengal, Maharashtra and south India or other north eastern states always fix their eyes on the throne in Delhi, Biharis don’t even move beyond Patna. Bihari brothers treat Patna as their London, Switzerland and America and have increased the price of their land and plots in Patna more than those developed countries.

Eastern UP is a unique place quite different and strange in character. People of that part of the land have been treating Banaras for a long time as the capital of the country. People have tussles and fight amongst themselves to grab that City. Ballia, Azamgarh and Ghazipur established their hold on BHU and on the other hand Chandauli, Banaras, Mirzapur took UP colleges in their control. When Ghazipur, Ballia, Azamgarh seized Cantt and Singra, then Devaria and Gorakhpur captured Assi.??May God bless our Prime Minister that he brought the whole area of Banaras under his control and brought the rivalry for control over Banaras to an end and flooded it with a bonanza of development.?

Due to the end of the dominance of Ghazipur, Ballia, Azamgarh on Banaras and development flowing in all other districts, Purvanchal became happy. All the districts have blessed the BJP and the Prime Minister whole heartedly in the Vidhan Sabha Elections. People of Ghazipur, Ballia and Azamgarh, who are physically strong but possess low mental calibre cocked a snook at BJP.?

Gujarat, Maharashtra, Odisha, southern India and all states are setting new record of development. The industries and industrialists of Gujarat and Maharashtra are continuously moving forward leaving behind not only India but the whole world. Purvanchal and Bihar are also trying hard to attract Gujarat and Maharashtra to their side. Yes it is such a wonderful Purvanchal Expressway that industries from Delhi can reach Bihar within 8-9 hrs using the expressway via eastern UP. I too participated in propagating the news and jotted down an article as well on Purvanchal Expressway sometime in November, 2021 under the caption “Kaluwa News –Dream Girl Election Equation”

I carried not only a hope but a full faith that this time the industries and industrialists of Gujarat and Maharashtra would march towards Purvanchal and Bihar. A few days ago, when the silicon chip, which is called the brain of electronics, reached India via London after leaving Taiwan I also started dreaming that perhaps Bihari Babu, who is a world leader in his industry, will return to his birth place Bihar with the silicon chips. But the dream was shattered and the silicon chip wandered around Maharashtra and reached Gujarat.?

After a few days I consoled myself that it does not matter if all the silicon chips had gone to Gujarat, something or other would definitely come out of Gujarat to Purvanchal and Bihar. Purvanchal and Bihar were watching with a keen eye as to when “development” from Gujarat and Maharashtra would race through Purvanchal Expressway and reach them. Industries did start their journey from Gujarat and Maharashtra, but Rajasthan stopped them to lie there only. Now the development of Gujarat and Maharashtra has started supporting the already developed Rajasthan. Poor Purvanchal Expressway still keep waiting for economic progress to come. All other states of India are on the path of progress but our poor Bhojpuria eastern Up and Bihar are still counting the wings of the flying birds and keep watching the trail of the silent??aeroplanes.

My article has been published in hindi in “Gauravshali Bharat” magazine.

The above thoughts are not written for the purpose of hurting any country, person and society. If someone is hurt, then I apologize.
