The Chief Corner Stone
Greetings in The Mighty Name of Jesus, The Christ!!!
“And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:”
Mark 12:10
“Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner [stone], a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.”
Isaiah 28:16
“The stone [which] the builders refused is become the head [stone] of the corner.”
Psalm 118:22
Brothers and Sisters we know that Jesus, Our Lord, is The Chief Corner Stone and we know that Israel Rejected Jesus as The Messiah, but, do you really Understand the What The Chief Corner Stone is Laid Upon. Too many think, have been taught, that when Our Lord Jesus came to Earth and was Our Sacrifice, that He Wiped everything clean from the Old Testament, that the Original Laws and Ordnances No Longer Apply to us. This is a Lie that Satan wants you to believe.
Our Lord Jesus came to set us Free from SIN, from the Sacrifices that were used depending upon what SIN you had committed. But what Jesus did not take away were the Ordnances and Laws pertaining to The Father on How To Live and Serve The Father.
To Understand the Placement Of The Chief Corner Stone, we must first Understand What it is Laid Upon.
Israel, The Hebrews, have been in multiple wars, multiple battles throughout the ages. But we need to focus on one event in history, that is, when The Hebrews were Delivered Out Of Egypt. We need to Understand that while in captivity they Kept The Laws and Ordnances of The Father as much as they could, as being Slaves. Their Mannerism was still to Worship and to Please Their God, that is, The Father. We also need to Understand that a Lamb, a Pure, Unspotted, Perfect Lamb was used to be a Sacrifice For Sin.
“5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take [it] out from the sheep, or from the goats: ... 7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike [it] on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. ... 12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I [am] the LORD. 13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye [are]: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy [you], when I smite the land of Egypt.”
Exodus 12:5, 7, 12-13
“32 And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish. ... 35 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.”
Leviticus 4:32, 35
“And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.”
Leviticus 5:6
Before I go any further, there are a lot of Scriptures dealing with Sacrifices that I am not writing about, but, in this event in Exodus, we need to Understand the Judgment Of The Father Passed By Because Of THE Lamb’s Blood that was Upon THE Entrance Of The House. The Lamb was Pure, Without Blemish.
We need to Understand that the Ordnances Of God were being Followed since Adam was Created, The Father Spoke, Adam did, for the most part. We need to Understand that The Father gave an Ordnance, a Law for Adam not to Eat of the Tree of Knowledge, but, we know that he did according to Eve, which introduced SIN into the World.
Now you need to Understand that Following God, The Father, has been since Adam until Jesus. It has been Progressive from Adam to Jesus in How To Live, and How To Serve God.
As I have said many times before, if Salvation was as simple as Jesus just dying for Our Sins and all we had to do is Just Confess that He is The Son Of The Father, then we would all only have to remember a few Scriptures, a few Words that could all be fit into a Small Pamphlet, not a Book. But it is Not that simple.
The Father Created The Base in which The Chief Corner Stone was upon. We have Scriptures from the Old Testament that pertain to us today, such as The Ten Commandments, in Exodus 20. Throughout the Old Testament we find The Father Leading, Guiding those who would Obey His Voice in All Manners Of Life. Now, how do we know this?
“I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.”
John 5:30
Jesus did not Change The Fathers Will, or The Fathers Desire for all of Mankind. Jesus came to Seal (with His Blood) The Fathers Will! The Sacrifice that Jesus gave did not Change The Fathers Ordnances, Laws For Living A Godly Life, He did change The Law For Sin.
How do we know this? How do we know that the Laws and Ordnances are still valid today as they were yesterday. How has it Become Harder, Not Easier…
“27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: 28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.”
Matthew 5:27-28
In the Old Covenant you had to be Caught In The Act of Committing Adultery, in the New Covenant Your Thoughts of Committing Adultery make you guilty of SIN.
“38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: 39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have [thy] cloke also. 41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. 42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.”
Matthew 5:38-42
In the Old Covenant Lawful Vengeances could take place, but in the New Covenant we are to Bear Unlawfulness Without Vengeances.
The Rules Of Engagement have been made Perfect Through Jesus, giving us Grace and Mercy. God The Father has always been the one to Fight and Win the Battles of Life, but man has taken it away from The Father.
“17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather] give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”
Romans 12:17-21
Now, before I get anyone more confused then what they may already be, let me try to explain how a house is First Started.
You cannot go into a forest and just start building a house, 1st, there is not enough room more than likely, and 2nd, where to start has to be considered.
“24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.”
Matthew 7:24-27
Back to the House Building…. You must Clear The Land of Unwanted Desires First. You Must Level The Ground and it is Based on ONE Focal Point and from that ONE Point is everything else Leveled By. Once it is All Level, then and Only Then do you lay The Chief Corner Stone. This Stone is Laid Upon an Already Established Foundation which is, The Old Covenant.
From the One Chief Corner Stone is Everything Established, which is Based On The Level Ground.
If you start building a House, and that First Stone, that First Brick is Crooked, Unlevel, then, ALL OF THE HOUSE WILL FOLLOW IN THE SAME MANOR! It will not be able to Stand. When Jesus was talking about the House Built On Rock, it is Him and He is Established By The Father and His Rules, whereas the House Built on Sand will Sink and Fall all because The First Foundation was Not Established Correctly, it was built however, wherever!
How do we know that Jesus, being The Chief Corner Stone was Built Upon The Fathers Foundation…
“And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou [wilt].”
Matthew 26:39
We find that Jesus Only Did The Fathers Will…In All Things…Jesus did not Change The Fathers Desire, did not Change The Foundation that The Father had already laid…just How To Build Upon It.
“17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”
Matthew 5:17-18
With this we find that Jesus, The Chief Corner Stone, did Not Change the Desire of The Father, but Jesus came to Fulfill The Desire Of The Father. So, then, Jesus set forth Five Offices that are Based Upon Him, who is Based Upon The Father’s Rules, the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. Two of these Offices are The Bases Of Our Faith In Jesus, The Apostle (Godly Living) and Prophet (Godly Direction).
“19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner [stone]; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.”
Ephesians 2:19-22
“10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”
Ephesians 4:10-16
The Five Offices are Set By Jesus and Him alone and they are Based Upon Jesus Word, which is Based Upon The Father’s Will, Desires, Rules, Ordnances and Laws. We need to Understand The Chief Corner Stone, the Bases of Our Faith, is Not Established on His Own Accord, but is Established Upon The Father.
The Chief Corner Stone is more than just a Starting Point, more than just a New Covenant, but Jesus, The Chief Corner Stone gives us a New Beginning With The Father. A Relationship that otherwise would be lost to SIN. Your Walk, should be as New as The Father IS Old. Today is Fathers Day, we should Celebrate What The Father has done for us, remembering that He Established The Rules…WE DID NOT!
