Chicago Black Lives Matter Leader's Ideological Mistake; In Justifying Massive Economic Destruction In Chicago

The #Chicago #BlackLiveMatters leader, interviewed on news video is, in my opinion, moving #BLM in the wrong direction when she first tells Rev. #JessieJackson to keep his opinions to himself and second likens the looting to reparations. Her words demonstrated a lack of respect for all of the blood, sweat and tears, which Black Lives have shed over the decades and centuries, due to a #HolierThanThou, mindset, as well as a #BLM Is All You Need attitude.

Her words also seem to exhibit she thinks hers and like-minded opinions are all that count. But even more harmful is her statement which also suggests no one outside of her sphere of approval should be able to express their opinion.

Is not this dismissal of non-conformist points of view, a part of the culture of suppression of diverse voices; which is partly the reason why the #SlaveRevolts, the original #CivilRightsMovement, the Rise of the #BlackPowerMovement and need for and rise of the #BlackPantherParty became a part of the collective history of the #USAmerica?.

In addition to possibly being illegal, Advocating and Encouraging looting as a form of #Reparations is ridiculously stupid. In addition to desensitizing those open-minded to a system of reparations, it is counter-intuitive to and undermines what could be a systematic process of real All Africanas Inclusive Reparations. However, I am not advocating reparations as an end goal or even objective to which we US Africanas should strive.

Massive Destructive Looting, which threatens the livelihood of one of the world's largest urban and commercial centers, but even more specifically that of low-wage and many other workers. Then we must consider the real effect such activities have on the investments of the many owners of businesses, from the smallest to the largest. Those destructive activities will turn many against, or worse put thousands of #Africana #Youths is the crosshairs of the multitude of stakeholders whose livelihoods have been impeded if not destroyed.

Did I mention the activities of constant destructive looting provides the civic and political leadership the justification for aggression against Chicago's Africana Youths, Then there are the already criminally out of control Cult of #FOB #CPD which can justify, in their minds, even more reason for being even more criminally, racistly out of control?

There has never been a history of human civilization, a successful social movement, which has succeeded in achieving its goals as an isolated single-minded, non-inclusive authoritarian movement.

Then there is the matter of respect. How can a supposed, progressive social movement leader, on national TV, disrespect a historic civil and economic rights leader, like Rev. Jesse Jackson? His activities over the decades have, undeniably, made a significant and positive impact on millions of people of all ethnicities and cultures.

If any millennials and late Gen Xers, do not believe and realize they are, more than ever, standing on the shoulders, from civil rights leaders and activists to revolting and escaped slaves, they are very delusional.

The deep and widespread hurt of actions that occurred last Sunday Night in Chicago; which has set back Chicago's Economic Recovery immeasurably, was exacerbated by the BLM Chicago leader's self-righteous rants. The damage has caused, is yet to be known to all of US Africanas and countless others.

The good news is many, based on street interviews, subsequent to the destruction, many understand the system which perpetuates the chaos of Sunday night, is broken and must be changed. However, such goodwill can easily be eroded, by over the top constant acts of unjustifiable violence.

In My Opinion, we are faced with the reality, all of the marchings, protesting and every other so-called progressive movement action which has occurred or might occur, ultimately will never heal what ails US Africanas, What is needed is:

  • The Wholesale Deprogramming of Negative, Destructive, Non-Progressive Mindset of Africanas both in the US America and Globally from being Ununified Ultra Consumers, easily Manipulated by Mindless, Miseducation, Misogynistic Media as well as, to a great non-aware extent self-loathing and self-deprecation.
  • Most Importantly, US Africanas must become a unified Economic Force, with deeply embedded committed practices and protocols of Cooperative Economics; much like the estimated 15 million Jewish people who globally are one of the single most economically powerful ethnicities which exist.

In closing, I must state, I myself have never been a fan of marching and protesting. I was heavily involved in the Black Power Movement; being fully embedded in the Front Lines of the Struggle; as a teen.

I have since fully embraced decades of:

  • participation in the USA system of higher education,
  • front line corporate business development,
  • decades as an independent entrepreneur,
  • financially enabling many Africana and other Cultural initiatives,
  • extensive international business travel,
  • recently part-time journalism,
  • a lifetime of consumption of global news and cultures,
  • constant exposure to and embracing of science,
  • a penchant for unique existentialist literature,
  • being a voracious current affair, cultural content and new information sponge
  • and always an independent thinker.

Consequently, all of those elements have given me a unique perspective and point of view; which has enabled in me a very liberal, inclusive, open-minded mindset. However, I do profess a low tolerance for and aversion to very conservative, exclusive and close-mindedness.

I Won’t March With You but, I am Ready, Willing and Able to Help to Enable #PowerToThePeople; My Good People, Your Good People and All Good People!!!

You are so right. Rev. Jesse Jackson's contributions to the advancement of Blacks in America and the rest of the world are too great and resounding to be disrespected. We are all for Black Lives Matter, of which Jesse is a champion for, so an apology should be given.
