CHGME Day of Action: Support Pediatricians

Today, August 22, is Connecticut Children’s “CHGME Day of Action” and you can get involved!?

Here’s what you can do: Complete this action alert to send an email to Connecticut's two US Senators and your member of the House of Representatives, urging them to invest in the pediatric workforce by supporting increased funding for CHGME. While our congressional delegation has always been very supportive of CHGME with the many federal funding priorities that exist, we need to remind them to be bold champions for children’s health!

Please feel free to customize your message, especially if you are a current or former pediatric resident who has benefited from the CHGME program.

In addition to this action alert, several of our pediatric residents are meeting with U.S. Senator Chris Murphy’s office today to share what inspired them to pursue pediatrics and why CHGME is so critical.?
