Chetna- The Consciousness
Life has multiple chapters for every individual. Some chapters are good whereas some phases are full of challenges.
·???????Have you ever felt empty on the inside?
·???????Perhaps felt numb at times when it's not necessary?
·????????You think you will almost do anything to avoid looking like you need help?
·????????Do you often ask yourself what the point of your life is?
·????????Or do you think that other people have something important in their lives that you don't?
·????????Have you felt lonely, as if you're the only person in the world?
·???????Or do you feel fundamentally different from other people?
?It depends on us how we see it, cope with it and make the best use of it. There have been instances where people have reported that they feel empty, lost and hopeless. Such feeling is not new to people. It is a common feeling of feel lack of purpose in life.
In today’s world we are more connected to things around us than people. Connection with people is somewhere lost in the process which is contributing to more mental health issues. Studies have shown that having soulful, pure connections is the key to live a more fulfilled life. Connection with people is always valued more than any other connection because it is a connection that can be reciprocated and a more stable connection than a materialistic one.
Now where people are involved, a connection has its own ups and downs. So having an emotional intelligence is also what one needs which involves understanding your own emotions, emotions of others and managing your emotions which can become quite challenging. This is what requires control. But everything should not be controlled.
Many seek solace in hedonistic pursuits like eating, drinking, drugging, shopping, and getting romantically involved.?Unfortunately, the harder you work to banish feelings of emptiness, the more frequently they resurface. It prevents you from experiencing happiness, self-assurance, and closeness. Its subtlety conceals the truth about what's missing in your life.
Taking control of your life can be a boon as well as a challenge. If taking control can contribute to giving a direction to your life it can also contribute to give stress when things are not in your control. We humans have started calculating the happiness in our lives with how many things are under our control. This parameter is a false parameter. Accepting the unwanted things in your life can change your whole perspective. Acceptance leads to a more stable approach towards life. It gives you more stability. A stable mind is the toughest mind.
Self awareness can guide you in your self improvement journey. Awareness comes from introspecting your actions and thoughts. Being aware can also be considered as a form of mindfulness. Mindfulness is being aware of your actions and being present in the present moment. It brings your mind and body at the same place.
Connection to self is the next level. It is above connecting to others or being present in the moment. Because being present can bring the calmness in your head but it cannot make you a happier version of yourself. To be happier, you need to be aware of what you want and not getting distracted by what the world is doing. It will bring you back to yourself.
Now if seeking happiness still looks tough, there is a phenomena which is above all this i.e Chetna which is connection to a higher self. Being ‘chetan’ is being aware. It makes you detach from the worldly pleasures and make you follow detached attachment. It makes you reach a point in life where you are attached to your goals and dreams but you remain un affected by it. It brings
Chetna is a principle that works for everyone, it's a way of being that allows us to see beyond the material world and into the very core of who we are. Awakening to our higher selves is the ultimate goal of life, and Chetna serves as a gentle reminder that we are more than just our physical bodies.
?In the midst of our hectic schedules, it's easy to lose touch with our inner selves and the world around us. Our minds and hearts become so jumbled that we lose sight of the here and now. Practicing Chetna can help you take things slowly and focus on the moment. The practice of Chetna can be integrated into many aspects of our daily lives. Meditating is a great technique for this. Concentrating one's thoughts on one thing at a time is the essence of meditation.?
?In conclusion, Chetna is a potent idea that can aid us in realizing our full potential and establishing a meaningful bond with the cosmos. It's a gentle nudge in the direction of our higher selves, a reminder that we're more than just flesh and blood.?
