I started to play chess when I was 19 years old. I didn't really know how to play. I learned how to play without reading any chess related books. I had played for 5 months straight before I moved another to level of playing. At first I played recklessly, because nobody has taught me how to play. It was like a boxing, like the way of life. I played recklessly exchanging a blows but stayed very aggressive. My game was like a playing "all in", which resulted me in destroying my opponents or losing hopelessly. After some time one guy showed me how to play more positional chess. It was different, it was more safe, but less aggressive with a greater chances to win. Soon after I tried to get back to old style of playing, but I just couldn't do it anymore, something has changed inside of me. I didnt want to lose, I didn't want to risk. Chess reflects way of life. Everything you do in your life reflects your personality. What do you think?
