Chennai VS Bangalore
Yesterday I had an opportunity to talk to my old friend who has worked in Bangalore for a decade. After the regular boring conversations, the discussion turned to Which is the best city, Chennai or Bangalore to settle.
He listed out many positives about Bangalore. Among, the most highlighted point is the weather. Again and again, he has told me about the weather. But, I don't want to highlight only the TRAFFIC of Bangalore as a negative. Rather than pinpointing the negatives of Bangalore, I wanted to highlight the positives of Chennai. So, I listed so many factors about Chennai. Among them, he enjoyed a few points.
I have written it here by summarising the discussion.

Firstly, the cost of living in Chennai is comparatively lower than in Bangalore. Housing, food, and transportation are all more affordable in Chennai, which means IT professionals can enjoy a better quality of life with the same salary. Chennai's lower cost of living can help IT professionals save money and invest in their future.
Secondly, Chennai has a stable and diverse economy, which is not entirely reliant on IT. Chennai has a thriving automobile, manufacturing, and healthcare industry, which provides employment opportunities for IT professionals as well. This means that IT professionals in Chennai are not solely dependent on the IT industry for their livelihood, which can be a significant advantage during times of economic instability.

It also has a diverse food scene, with local delicacies that are famous all over the world. Chennai's cultural heritage and vibrant arts scene provide IT professionals with a unique work-life balance that cannot be found in other IT hubs like Bangalore.
Lastly, Chennai is well-connected to other parts of the country and the world. The city has a modern international airport and a well-developed transportation system that makes it easy for IT professionals to travel both domestically and internationally. This can be a significant advantage for IT professionals who need to collaborate with teams in other parts of the world.
