ddchem is a manufacturer of epoxy hardeners and resins that has been operating and known under this brand name since 2003, after acquiring another company in the area from which it inherited the strength of 40 years of specific know-how.

The mission of ddchem is to positively combine the quality and performance standards of large companies with the attention to detail, care for relationships and flexibility typical of smaller companies. To be able to do this, especially with regard to the first point, the production performance must be that of a multinational industry, and this is why, in order to meet the growing demand for products and be ready to seize the opportunities of the evolving market, since 2020 it has been implementing a process that will double its production capacity over the next few years.

The first milestone of this path, reached in 2021, has allowed ddchem to double the capacity to produce our range of hardeners containing pure and formulated aliphatic and cycloaliphatic amines, thus ensuring even higher quality and delivery speed for this product family, with a lead time of currently 10 working days.

The range of cycloaliphatic polyamines, under ITAMINE brand name, now includes more than 60 products, of which 15 innovative products introduced in the last few years that were not previously on the market, and covers a very wide range of applications in the C.A.S.E. (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers) fields, such as paints, flooring, composite materials, civil engineering, marble and stone, to mention the main ones.

In this implementation process the focus has always been, and will remain, on the high standards of both quality and safety, of our customers and our staff, geared towards safeguarding the working environment.

That is why:

- We work in nitrogen-tight production, we produce in a closed circuit and under atmospheric pressure, for maximum safety of the working environment and output quality

- We invest in the highest quality of materials and workmanship for the machinery in our production plant, which is totally made of inert materials (steel)

- We ensure the consistent performance of our products using weighing machines, which eliminate any discrepancy in results between different weighings.

At the same time, we continue to invest heavily in the R&D laboratory, the beating heart of ddchem, which is necessary to guarantee an innovative product portfolio that is able to interpret the changing needs of the market. Today, the ddchem laboratory is mainly focused on the creation and optimisation of solutions that are increasingly environmentally friendly, using greener, less impactful and less dangerous raw materials.

REACH compliance

ddchem has always been committed to implementing and complying with current regulations. For this reason it now has 5 substances, including 3 adducts, registered under EC Regulation 1907/2006 (REACH).

REACH registration ensures full compliance of products and the management of high safety standards related to their use, both for health and the environment.

Guided by its client-centred approach, ddchem also evaluates the possibility of registering additional substances, based on projects and related customer needs.
