EPA Finalizes PFAS Data Reporting Rule

On September 28, 2023, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finalized one-time reporting requirements for Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) under Section 8(a)(7) of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Under the final rule, any person that manufactures or imports or has manufactured or imported PFAS or PFAS-containing articles in any year since January 1, 2011 will be required to electronically report information to the EPA.
