Emma will be returning to the US two decades later after uplifting some of the greatest football teams. To talk achievements, the legendary coach has been part of Arsenal & Chelsea's grand success, followed by multiple D1 teams. Most importantly, she guided Chelsea towards multiple FA Cups, WSL Spring Series,? Women’s Super League titles, and more. This led Hayes to lift the FIFA Women’s Coach of the Year for 2021 and was a finalist for the award in 2023.??
2024 was no different. The recent USWNT signing added an important tag to her star-studded portfolio. She became the highest-paid female football coach in history, something that every dream chaser wishes for. But with position comes responsibility. While she must have her goals set, one still floats over the horizon. It is nothing but beating Japan, who finished with 8 draws against the USA in World Cup history.?
Moving on, U.S. Soccer President Cindy Parlow Cone also had a comment over Emma Hayes' signing. “She has tremendous energy and an insatiable will to win. Her experience in the USA, her understanding of our soccer landscape, and her appreciation of what it means to coach this team make her a natural fit for this role and we could not be more pleased to have her leading our Women’s National Team forward.”???
