Cheers Over Sneers to 2020

????, it's been real ... weird ... it's been real weird. Highs and lows abound, but as we close this chapter, I'm focusing on that for which I am grateful.

First and foremost, the time I've been able to spend at home with my family has brought us all so much closer together, and it couldn't have come at a better time with the birth of our daughter back in April. She has been such a blessing and bundle of joy and hope, and I feel so lucky to have spent every day with her since she arrived. And even though she kicked me out of my home office, the bright side is that I built a new one external to the home that has become a space that I can truly call my own.

Second, while navigating a pandemic, politics, and civil unrest as a business leader certainly has its challenges, I'm incredibly grateful to see our industry and community come together during this time, be deemed essential, and continue to push forward incremental acceptance around the world (and even with my in-laws). Having the opportunity to represent such a great movement that is so clearly on the right side of history is truly a gift. My involvement has led me so many places, both physically and virtually, and provided me the venue to educate people all around the world. Finally, I can't express how grateful I am to my Vertosa family. Starting with our team, you all work tirelessly with the greatest integrity and never losing sight of our values and true north; for this, I know we will continue to grow and be successful.
