As we step into 2025, one word defines my outlook:?Optimism. Reflecting on 2024, that word would be?Gratitude. Let’s start there.
At GALLO, we are fortunate to have the dedication of over 7,500 employees working across the globe—from growers and winemakers to bottling plant workers, marketers, sales teams, and more. Our success, however, extends far beyond GALLO itself. It’s powered by the incredible efforts of thousands of our distributor teams and retailers, who bring our products to consumers every day. And, our international teams play a vital role in expanding our global footprint, ensuring our brands resonate in markets around the world.
To everyone who plays a part in delivering our brands to shelves and tables—no matter where you are or what tier you represent—thank you. Your hard work, collaboration, and passion are the foundation of our success.
Looking Ahead: Cautious Optimism for 2025
Optimism isn’t just a mindset, it’s a necessity. While challenges remain, such as shifting consumer behaviors and increased competition, I’m excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.
People are still enjoying wine and spirits, but the occasions for them are evolving. As an industry, our collective challenge is to reimagine how beverages fit into modern lifestyles, while also inviting new LDA consumers into the category. This requires focused, disciplined brand-building efforts that connect with consumers in?authentic, relevant, and memorable ways.
Why I’m Optimistic
Consumer preferences are evolving, opening the door for new possibilities. Taste profiles are expanding, and product categories are blending in ways we’ve never seen before. GALLO is embracing this momentum through?innovation.
