It is pity when I see children who refuse treatment because of painful memories of surgery, even though they know that it is need to correct or remove their limb deformity or pain. It is also because most of the patients undergoing surgery are children.

I hope the day comes when treatments for gene mutations are established and they live without worrying about surgery.
