Checklist for UI developer

? Use ALT tags for all graphics, especially navigation graphics.

? Use black text on white background whenever possible for optinal legibility. Make sure text is a printable color not white color.

? Use either plain-color backgrounds or extremely subtle background patterns.

? Place navigation in a consistent location on each page of your website and Use a familiar location for navigation bars.

? Keep the design from scrolling horizontally.

? Use one axis of symmetry for centered text on a page.

? Encourage scrolling by splitting an image at the fold.

? Have only one idea per paragraph (with the topic sentence first)

? Use frequent headings and sub-headings that are meaningful rather than merely clever

Create bulleted lists

? Use large, easy to read fonts and Highlight keywords (using hypertext links, typeface variations, color)

? Make sure that there is enough contrast between text and background colors

Spelling, grammar, mechanics

? Titles, headers, and navigation labeled correctly. Also maintain Image Quality. And display a download time.

? Manage text layout and to handle proper alignment of elements(Text, Heading, Button, Graphics)

? Check on different platforms and browsers

? When we resize our window at that time it works fine.

? Are the field and general screen background the correct color? Are the field prompts the correct color

? Are the screen and field colors adjusted correctly for non-editable mode

? Are all the buttons are in standard format and size, Banner style & size & display exect same as existing window.

? Does the first letter of the second word appears in lowercase

? Are graphics being used the most efficient use of file size

? Are names in command button & option box names are not abbreviations

? Test your web page in Different resolution.

? If possible then all images is stored in to a css. N all css is converted in a one style sheet.

? Compare designing with project layout.

? Check designing with Windows , Mac and Linux.

? Check layout when session expire.

? After complete every project check whole project with w3c testing.

? Check designing of a mail layout.
