Checking Temperatures is only half the story

Whatever the venue, let's say that you and your family are going to the Theatre, Cinema, or Theme Park, where there are temperature checks, it is important for the Venue to interact with Visitors showing an above normal temperature.

Whilst there are numerous solution for temperature checking, very few, if any, can assign the temperature records with the event or venues Access Control System. Without this integration all the visitor can do is take the entire group away and visit hospital or leave the group and return home alone.

The venue has no idea who this person is so can do nothing to support them. However, with the systems we provide every person who arrives on the site is immediately known to the Access Control System and their temperature recorded and assigned to each individual.

If a member of the party has an above normal temperature the access control system sends them a text straight away providing guidance and options:- Proceed to a certain point on site nearby for their temperature to be re-checked, advise on what to do next, offer a discount or voucher for the entire party and generally provide support and exhibit a duty of care rather then simply turning them away. Also this solution can play an important role with Contact Tracing

This is a simple example of what can be done with an integrated system - apart from anything else the return of the group or individual will be far more likely.

Venues should look at the mandatory safeguards that are imposed on them as an opportunity to interact with Visitors, Guests, Fans and Attendees in general to make a positive experience from an inconvenient and "not my problem" situation.
