Another successful Cheltenham Festival?
It was another incredibly busy Cheltenham Festival for the media team. The social engagement, new organic strategy, and strong mix of partner offers helped deliver an increase of 23% in active bettors during the week versus last year. Bookmaker click-outs from organic search increased 47% compared with Cheltenham 2023. The social brands also saw success with just under ten thousand new followers during the Festival and a 66/1 winning bet helping drive engagement on the Thursday. The focus for the media team now is planning for the end of the football season, start of the flat racing season and the upcoming Euros.?
James Prosser joins the Group
Free Super Tips co-founder and ex-Spotlights Affiliate Director James Prosser has joined the Group as Growth Consultant this month. Over the next few months, James will be helping add value to several teams across the Group leveraging his experience and network in the affiliate space.?
Launch of new Digital PR team
As the Group looks to ramp up organic traffic in the UK and International markets, a?new Digital PR team has been set up internally. Newly appointed Head of Digital PR,?James Dixon , will lead the team and focus on elevating brands such as Footy?Accumulators, The Winners Enclosure and U.S. facing Flash Picks. Additionally, the?team will extend its digital PR services to partners, offering a comprehensive?marketing solution.?

Launch of new Boxing News app
Checkd Dev released their build of the new Boxing News App in time for the Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou card earlier this month. Using Checkd’s in-house BRUNO platform, the app provides users with predictor games and an industry-first interactive scorecard giving boxing fans a voice like never before. When scoring fights in real-time, users can see how others are seeing the fight play out round by round. In addition, the predictor game allows users to compete for prizes and rank alongside the experts from the Boxing News team. Other features of the build include ringwalk reminders and the latest news, interviews and podcasts from the Boxing News team.
Stats Perform & Checkd Dev continue Opta sports data focused deal
The new multi-year agreement enables licensed operators to embed Checkd Dev’s?Opta data-powered Smart Acca betting tool/s into relevant market pages.
Available for both football and US Sports within online and mobile sportsbooks. The Smart?Acca product is currently delivering high conversion to bet placement, with data?analysis showing that users also add more legs to accumulator bets than average,?leading to superior margins for operators.?

Checkd Group shortlisted for two North America awards?
Checkd Group have been shortlisted in two categories at the upcoming SBC North America Awards. We have been shortlisted in both the Rising Star in Sports Betting and the Sports Data Product categories. The award ceremony will take place on 9th May in New York with Callum Broxton attending from Checkd International.
