Successful Royal Ascot

A huge week in the calendar for our flagship horse racing brand, The Winners Enclosure, saw an increase of 10.5% of daily active betting accounts during Royal Ascot compared to the previous year.

The Winners Enclosure also partnered with ITV7 for a branded content and video campaign. This was the fourth time a campaign like this had been agreed during a key festival week of the racing calendar; which produced over 740,000 impressions and 5,000 branded video views.


William Hill extend No Tippy Tappy Football?

With Big Sam back from his spell at Leeds, we’re delighted to welcome his return for the new season on No Tippy Tappy Football. William Hill will continue its sponsorship this season, with several high-profile guests planned to kick us off in August. Last season’s podcast delivered over 6.3m YouTube views, 2.6m Twitter views, and 1m Instagram Reel views.? ?


Alex Booth reaches 10 Years at CheckdMedia!?

Our Social Team Manager Alex Booth reached the 10-year milestone last week! Alex originally started with us back in 2013 as a Social Media Executive and part of the Juice Academy apprenticeship program. He progressed to Brand Manager in August 2016 before moving up to Social Team Manager last year. Congrats Alex!??

Betting Hub v7.7 Released

Betting hub v7.7 was released on both iOS and Android in June. The major update was made up of 3 items: Smart Acca - Quick Search & Trending Accas, new Football Markets, and Each-Way Horse Racing betting.

Quick Search & Trending Accas is the latest upgrade to the popular Smart Acca tool. Quick Search allows users to view pre-built searches and view the exciting betting opportunities in one tap. Trending Accas goes one step further and packages high-ranking Smart Acca selections into automated accas meaning users can view and place bets even quicker.

To further bolster the Football offering in Betting Hub we added Match Corners, Team Corners, Player Fouls and integrated more bookmakers into our Player Shots on Target market. The final addition was Each-Way betting on Horse Racing. This means our users can compare the Each-Way terms across all of the major UK bookmakers enhancing our odds comparison service.?




International

The U.S. team visit Manchester HQ

Our U.S. team visited the Manchester office in June, led by Callum Broxton and Trevor Valentine . The guys joined several intercompany meetings including FlashPicks brainstorming sessions with Dev and insight on our UK operations with Media. The team were introduced to some of our core UK sports including Racing at Haydock and Cricket/beers at Sixes!?


Bet365 US Darts Masters Content

The U.S. business broke new ground in early June, creating its first piece of branded content for the North American market. In partnership with long-term partners bet365 , the team produced three social-first videos to promote the US Darts Masters at Madison Square Garden with the content ultimately achieving just shy of 100,000 views.
