Center for Applied Imagination
Creativity is an Essential Life Skill.
The Center for Applied Imagination is a proud community of over 800 graduates who serve as creative change leaders in their organizations, schools, professional fields, and communities. We are both fortunate and proud to have one of the most cohesive, loyal, and loving alumni communities. Joining the creativity program at Buffalo State is akin to finding your tribe (as described by many of our alumni). You learn and work with like-minded people who are passionate about making a difference in the world. Once you graduate, you become a member of a creativity community, so it’s up to you as to how active you wish to be in that community, but know that the community will always be there to support you.
Here are some profiles of some of the amazing alumni that have graduated through our program:
Ian Rosenfeldt
Matthew Burch
Laura Barbero-Switalski
Ismet Mamnoon
Tamara McMillan
Greg McClure and John Szablewski
Our graduates are found all around the world. They are located on five continents and in more than 20 different countries. Studying at the Center for Applied Imagination means you will be joining a worldwide network of creativity professionals. To engage our community, the Creativity and Change Leadership Department runs the annual Creativity Expert Exchange conference. This virtual conference attracts more than 150 participants, many of whom are our alumni, and provides a way for our community to engage in continuous learning and test new ideas.??
