This is a recording of a webinar from 28 Mar 19 where we discussed how to transform your business with check-ins as an alternative to annual appraisals.

A check-in is a way of recording a discussion between a manager and employee that forms part of a transparent discussion regarding the employee’s goals, achievements, career progression, providing/seeking support, celebrating success and development needs. Check-ins support and extend an open culture where two-way discussion between the manager and employee is required and valued. This requires honesty from both parties and the check-in should focus on performance and potential, not on personality.

In this webinar we discuss how annual appraisals don’t work for many people and how check-ins can support a more open culture. But we also talk about how check-ins can positively contribute to other elements of your employee lifecycle.
