Check-In on Your Emotional State
COVID-19 pandemic has caused a dramatic change in our life and surrounding environment. We have been rattled by the uncertainty of what comes next, and all of these uncertainties compound and add to the stress of what you do in your daily routine. We have ended up running on heightened emotions and ignoring the importance of checking in with our thoughts and our well-being.
May 2024 is the World Health Organization’s World Mental Health Awareness Month and that’s why we’ve brought this quick checklist and reminder for you, to cut through all the noise and prioritize your overall well-being.
Prevention is better than cure. By having the awareness of your mental health status, you can get ahead of the emotional duress. Remember, your goal is not to be superhuman, but rather to be a human who can take care of yourself, so you can help others too. Being there for yourself will only help you show up better for others!
CHECK IN WITH YOURSELF :
Take time to reflect and answer all these questions for yourself honestly. This will help you gauge your mental health status, and know what areas you need to work on to be in a better place.
