ChatGPT's Legal Timebomb is Ticking, Microsoft Edge Gets Dall-E, OpenAI Defamation Lawsuit

Today, scholars from Columbia warn that ChatGPT’s legal issues are a ticking time bomb, describing it as a “defamation machine”. Coincidently, an Australian Mayor get’s defamed by ChatGPT and demands the misinformation to be corrected, threatening legal action. Over at Microsoft, DALL-E image generation gets added to Edge’s side bar, and it’s estimated that AI-written code now accounts for almost half of all the code written on Github (up from 27% in June 2022).
