ChatGPT apparently isn't an AI, it's machine learning. And when I work out what the differences are, we'll be very happy. But anyway, these are machines writing content for you, which is fine for technical articles or stuff that's quite generic and broad. But it's not going to make your website stand out among your competitors. What you do in your business, you've heard of things called USPS your unique selling point. What you do unique to your business cannot be written at the moment by an AI so yeah, use it for chunks of text use it for informational things. After all, you have the expertise to know what you're searching for. For example, there was a blog post I wrote about on and off-page SEO. Yes, I cheated using a chat GBT. But I went through and updated it and made it more individual to my business. So it did help. But anything specific about what I do and how I do or stories about my business, case studies, things that can only be written by you, as your business cannot be written by an AI.
I've got a feeling Google is gonna prefer that kind of content over generic stuff. We'll still need the generic stuff because people need to know about it. They'll be searching and stuff like what is on an off-page SEO, or what goes into making you're willing to boot if you start going into boots or you know how chickens raised or how our golf balls made, those things might be fairly generic, then people will still be searching for those things. but stuff that makes your business stand out individually cannot be written currently by an AI. So that's quite that's my point of view on content writing from, or by machines.
It can't be individual to your business because it's not a mind reader. so yeah, tracking ChatGPT and other AI content writing is going to change things but I don't think it's going to change things massively. What are your thoughts?

In ChatGPT's own words:
Is ChatGPT' good for writing business blog posts?
As an AI language model, ChatGPT can be a useful tool for writing business blog posts. However, it's important to keep in mind that?AI-generated content can sometimes lack the human touch and creativity that can make a blog post truly engaging and effective.
ChatGPT can help with tasks such as generating ideas for blog post topics, providing research and statistics to support your content and suggesting phrasing or wording that can make your writing clearer and more effective. However, it's up to you as the human writer to add your own unique voice and perspective to the content, and to make sure that the final product is tailored to your specific audience and business goals.
Ultimately, using ChatGPT as a tool to support your writing can be a good way to increase efficiency and productivity, but it's important to use it in combination with your own skills and expertise in order to produce high-quality business blog posts.

1 年I’ve been playing with AI recently so I can spot an AI post or article a mile off now!! Haha. I’m sure it’s helpful for some people to generate ideas for social and blog articles, but like you say, you need to edit it. Relying on it for your entire content marketing strategy would be a big mistake. Definitely a no go for website copy.

1 年ChatGPT is the most boring thing to interact with as long as you focus on anything that might require any form of intellect or emotion. It’s also heavily politically biased and comes off as psychotic under certain circumstances. Using it could be dangerous for business unless you’re going to proof read and edit the work.
