For anyone interested in reading about my own experience with use of ChatGPT - here are my takeways (written with my own words, with no AI alteration).
Back in December last year, my husband got paid subscription to ChatGPT tools (including DallE) - so we can play and learn by using, the capabilities of these tools.
Let me just say that I am completely impressed by what these tools generate, but can also notice how much more they could do in the future. A continuous improvement journey.
For someone like me, who adopted English as a second language and not my mother-language, I had sparkles in my eyes on how much smarter and simpler my texts would become, how efficient the long sentences will be summarized, into very clear bullet points (and I love clear things).
So, several of my previous Linkedin articles I used ChatGPT. I used it in 2 ways:
It’s a cool tool to use and I would recommend anyone reading this to at least play with it, test it and see for themselves the vibe it generates. For me, I decided that I love my imperfectly perfect English long sentences and I want to show up as who I am in my writings, so unlikely I will be using ChatGPT for anything that has a personal note to it. High likelihood that will continue the ChatGPT subscription for support with more formal, emotionless texts and objective facts presented in a very clear fashion.
For anything else, where I talk about myself, my own experiences and have my own professional “brain dumps”over here, you’ll be reading me. Authentic, original, patented-unique version , as my primary writing motivation is to foster connection and community, to put aside personas, egos and masks and instead, show up in this work-in-progress, always under-construction model, life-long learner and curious mind.
