ChatGPT - I love you, me neither. To hijack a plane, you have to be inside it!

ChatGPT has changed my life. Ever since you arrived, my thoughts revolve around the infinity you offer. I continuously connect ideas, allowing me to see things from a completely different perspective. Possibilities emerge that I would never have thought of otherwise.

Writing. Yes, thanks to you, I can finally write. In a language that isn't my mother tongue - it was already possible with DeepL, Google Translate, etc. - but no one translates as precisely as you do. But that's just part of it. The essential thing is the billions of connections you allow me to make.

Flow. Yes, I've been in a state for weeks that I haven't experienced so intensely since my student days. New connections constantly come to mind that I can link together.

But the most incredible thing is the self-created ChatGPTs! A big thank you to Jeremy Guillo and Brice Trophardy , whose book "Superproductive" set me on the right path. I'm just starting, but I'm on fire! You code your own ChatGPTs, which then help you whenever you need them.

My current pride is a CoDevelopment session augmented by AI, which I will also use in my future trainings. For those unfamiliar with CoDev: it's a six-step method to foster collective intelligence. In a small group, we meet, one is the "client" who shares a problem (in our case, usually a management issue), the others are the "consultants" who listen and ask questions to help the "client" develop possible action strategies. Each step has its own rules that must be strictly followed.

The GPT CoDev Facilitator I programmed magically transforms into a "consultant," step by step, asking incredibly relevant questions and suggesting totally unexpected solutions! The other human "consultants" are thus encouraged to explore even more blind spots, which a normal human would never think of. The "consultants" can then push the GPT further into unknown spheres, and new horizons open up. The combination of human and artificial intelligence is taken to dizzying levels. It's simply staggering!hatGPT has changed my life. Ever since you arrived, my thoughts revolve around the infinity you offer. But that's just one example. I'm of course thinking of programming GPTs that will then develop entirely new training programs, design interview guides, stage unprecedented role-plays, develop Serious Games, enrich trainer feedback with an emotion detector, etc., etc. It's infinite. And infinitely exciting.

I'm also looking forward to using special GPTs during upcoming trainings, to help us break out of our usual patterns of thought, our biases, as we are all filled with these biases and often struggle to look beyond our own limits. I will probably increasingly encourage managers to learn to use ChatGPT properly, to draft a "Prompt" correctly, i.e., how to write the instructions so that the artificial intelligence also produces the desired result?

Sounds good, doesn't it? But what a dilemma, it's also the worst nightmare! Of course, it starts with asking when we, the trainers, will become completely useless. But not just us!

It gets even worse when we address ethical questions. How far can man go? When will thought be completely taken away from us? We have long understood that we are massively manipulated by various algorithms, but with ChatGPT, we potentially reach a whole new quality. But should we resist these new possibilities with all our might? So that others, perhaps less well-intentioned, fill this void and...? I utterly don't know.

Insane amounts of energy resources are wasted. How many nuclear or coal power plants operate in the world for Bitcoin, Facebook, all kinds of clouds? And now ChatGPT? I don't even want to know, but it certainly makes one sick.

The nightmare has already struck teachers and professors: 100% of pupils and students use ChatGPT. So, what sense does it still make to correct an assignment created by an AI?

I ask ChatGPT what the dangers and disadvantages of AI are. The answer is spontaneous: "Loss of jobs / Privacy and data protection / Bias and discrimination / Dependency on technology / Ethics and control / Social impacts / Loss of human skills." I would gladly have added "Marital crises" because I could stay days and nights in front of the screen!

So what to do? For now, I still think you have to be in the plane to hijack it, i.e., try to understand this thing! In any case, I want to know enough about the subject to be at least approximately and psychologically ready to face what awaits us. And I simply hope that at julhiet sterwen , in our team of dedicated trainers, we will handle this responsibly. I’m even sure of it because we are a Mission-Driven Company.
