Is The ChatGPT Hype Over?
How often do people use AI tools in the year 2 after ChatGPT?
Dear Readers,
is ChatGPT a hype phenonmenon or is is here to stay? With this question in mind, I turned to Google Trends to see how often people search for the terms "ChatGPT" and "AI" in Google.
And, looking at the results, it is clear that growth has slowed down and we nearly reached a plateau - but even if the growth rate is lower than at the start, there are still more and more people searching for ChatGPT and AI:
A little bit of explaining: Google shows not just the people in regular search of ChatGPT, but also the people who don't type in the ChatGPT adress in their browser, but google it and click the first result - being too lazy to type the full adress. Meaning: we also see the user base of ChatGPT reflected in this graph.
What does that mean? As far as I see it, there is a continous strong demand for ChatGPT and AI, but it's not going through the roof.
What does that mean for you? Stay ahead of the curve by investing your time and energy in AI, use it for your firm or your private endeavours like language learning.
Read, listen or watch content about AI. Why? Because you can stay ahead of your competition.
On the other hand: if you don't invest in AI knowledge now, you'll loose your good position, as the others may not be really awake, but also not really asleep - it's an inbetween position.
What is your opinion? Do you follow my interpretion? Do you see things differently? Do you use ChatGPT more or less?
Looking forward to hearing from you!
