Is ChatGPT hurting creativity, or inspiring innovation?

My opinion on OpenAI's ChatGPT as a marketing student has been fluctuating over the last few days. At first glance, it seems as if this artificially intelligent chat bot could be destroying creative writing and copywriting for good. Being able to seamlessly request the chat bot to write an elegant creative description for any product, service, or sales pitch, and the extent of the quality was almost beyond imaginable to me. With a few good keywords this AI chatbot will be able to describe or create in words anything you would like, within the scope of its knowledge, which dates to before 2021.

But after hearing others voice opinions on ChatGPT, I began to second guess my initial opinions. And began imagining how beneficial this AI could be. Especially when I have been very critical in potential decline for demand in copy writing. But as I mentioned earlier the "key" is in the key words. There is an importance in directing the chat bot to actually be able to compute your specifics that are customized to your topic, or tone, or audience. And thats where the authentic creativity can still be utilized and valuable.
