ChatGPT: a glimpse of the sensational AI 'model'

For the past few days, there has been a lot of hullabaloos about ChatGPT.?I have been hearing tales on how beautifully it writes poems, how shrewdly it generates codes etc., Hardly less than a month since its roll-out, people started ranting and raving that ChatGPT is going to replace jobs.?I tried my hands too & I admire the way it stands out from the crowd of other conventional chatbots. For a moment, it might make us think that the world is going to end but hang in there!?Let me tell you why we should be least bothered, although ChatGPT is intimidatingly smart.

The Data & Analytics field has been witnessing incredible levels of advancements and major feats in terms of tools/technologies.?Earlier we were using handwritten ledgers to drive the business decisions. Then came the "advent" of Spreadsheet tools like VisiCalc which further opened the doors to the invention of GUI based tools like MS Excel.?Then, ETL/ELT came into the limelight. As the volume of data started growing exponentially, engineers of opensource communities started getting prominence and the rest is history.

Industrial expansion can be directly correlated to the evolution of Data Analytics platforms. As the industries continue to expand, novel situations and challenges are bound to arise. So far in the history of Analytics, there has never been a single technology that provides one-stop solution to the day-to-day business problems; veterans from the field will vouch for this statement.

ChatGPT, the so-called intuitive tool, can write essays for you but it cannot be on par with the cognitive capacity of the human brain. For instance, when I try to generate the response for the phrase 'Elon Musk and Donald Trump', it could give me descriptions on both these personalities but it didn’t highlight any specific details apart from the generic information available over the internet.?

3) Above all, try to overcome the fear of learning new things. Initially, it will be mind-boggling but at the end, the result is priceless.
