I am back in London after a great trip in India. I was amazed by the digital revolution in India and the rise of the digital payment ecosystem!
Another buzz I heard was ChatGPT. You probably must have seen it all over your social media feed.
But not everyone is aware of this amazing technology and what it can do.
So for this week’s newsletter, I will be sharing about ChatGPT.? What exactly is it? How does it work? Everything explained in simplest terms.
What is ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a chatbot. It uses natural language processing (NLP), machine learning and vast amounts of data, to generate conversations.
It interacts with users in an incredibly realistic way, almost like having a chat with a real person.
ChatGPT can be used for fun and artistic things too. It? is capable of writing poems and essays and could also make humorous comments like a comedian.
You can see below a beautiful poem it generated for me when I asked to write a poem with Moon and Monday together :)
How does it work??
The company has trained the model using 'Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback' (RLHF), but with slight differences in the data collection setup.
Responses from ChatGPT sound quite human-like because they were trained on vast amounts of data written by people.
ChatGPT is very good at answering questions. It is almost like you’re talking to a person that has spent hundreds of years absorbing knowledge. Its output is fluid and grammatically correct, and it can even mimic different styles of speech.
Who owns ChatGPT?
OpenAI, a San Francisco-based AI and research company, launched ChatGPT on November 30, 2022.?
OpenAI has said, "We trained an initial model using supervised fine-tuning: human AI trainers provided conversations in which they played both sides - the user and an AI assistant."
Recently Microsoft announced that it is considering a $10bn investment in OpenAI, defining a deal for a new era of artificial intelligence.
But it's not the first time Microsoft is investing in ChatGPT. It had initially invested $1bn investment in 2019 in OpenAI.
How to access ChatGPT?
You can access ChatGPT for free at https://chat.openai.com/chat
You will need to create an account by clicking on Sign Up
Once you’ve created your account, ChatGPT will provide examples of what you can do with the tool, and help you through the process of running your first queries.
What should I ask ChatGPT?
I have spent hours interacting with ChatGPT asking various questions from metaverse to nuances of working in different countries to silly questions such as why avocados go bad in such a short time ??
But ChatGPT has great capabilities and you can use it various ways:
I have seen people creating prompts to ask for job referrals to create content for social media posts.
Some companies are using ChatGPT to write codes and develop software programs

Some children are also using ChatGPT for homeworks and assignments?
Recently a user asked ChatGPT to write a leave of absence at work in "Shashi Tharoor" style. Noticing the bot's answer, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor called it "hilarious."
You can even take its help to rewrite your resume. Write your resume bullet and ask ChatGPT to rewrite the sentence to be impact focussed?
You can even use ChatGPT to write killer LinkedIn Hooks. See an example here: https://lnkd.in/ePiRQUX6

Is ChatGPT a search engine?
There has been a lot of talk about ChatGPT and if it will replace Google Search.
The most elaborate response to this is from Ben Dickson who said: “ Most often, when I turn to Google, I don’t even know what the right question is. I just mash together a bunch of keywords, look at the results, do a bit of research, and then narrow down or modify my search. That is a kind of application that, in my opinion, will not be replaced by a very effective question-answering model yet.
So what are the limitations of ChatGPT?
Now the most dreaded question: Will ChatGPT Take Your Job?
ChatGPT has all the signs of being a technological game-changer. On a long enough timescale, technology will eventually assume your current role. However, this is unlikely to happen anytime soon.
Machine learning and artificial intelligence are still in their infancy, and you’ll (hopefully) be long since retired before the machines come for your job.?
And before that happens, the power of tools like ChatGPT will allow you to perform your role with much greater efficiency and effectiveness.
???????? ????????: ???? ???????? ?????? ?????????????? ??????.
?????? ????????: ?? ???????????? ?????????? ???? ????????.
Everyone who said AI would take our jobs, has hired twice as many data scientists at even higher costs. Technology available to all in the medium run normalizes as demand ramps up.?
You use CGPT, everyone uses it, and then you will hire CGP T experts who can leverage it efficiently.?
Artificial intelligence is created by and requires human intelligence to function. The future of technology is to make lives easier and not replace lives all together.
